Toby needs a grooming - send me a picture of your beautifully groomed doodle!

So, I need to make an appointment for Toby to be groomed. We have a groomer we used for our now dearly departed dog. They tell me they do lots of doodles, and we always like their cuts before. She asked on the phone if I wanted him short, or some length left, so that is promising. I thought if I had a picture it might help, so, if you have a photo of your dog looking spectacular after being groomed, want to post it for me? Or tell me to look on your page? :)

Absolutely adorable. I already told her on the phone that I am not interested in shaving - I want some length left.
that is cute!!

This was taken after Murphy came back from the groomer. They called it a "puppy cut". The cut about 5 inches off her coat but I think she still looks like a doodle.
Good luck!
I love that cut! The groomer told me we will chat about what I want when I drop Toby off, and I'll brush him out well the night before. He's going on Thursday. The house will feel unpleasantly empty without him.
Yah, It's a little scary the first time. You don't know how they'll react or turn out. We lucked out and got a great groomer the first time. Murphy did fine but still wasn't crazy about it. Since her first cut we've taken her in the groomer's just to say hi and have nothting done, just so she gets used to going in. I also bought one of those Le Pooch brushes (there's a whole discussion on them). They're expensive but work pretty well. The biggiest thing is that Murphy doesn't run from me when I need to brush her out. My goal is to get her a puppy cut maybe twice a year and then in between keep her brushed out well and to the groomer just a couple of times for trims around her eyes. You really need to stay on top of the brushing though because they can matt up so fast!
Post picuters after your cut!
How long did you let Murphy get before your first grooming?? Fozzy is 5 months and really getting long around the eyes.
We had a hard time deciding on a groomer and risking Whopper's long coat but we were pretty pleased with the results. Sorry the picture isn't great but it had been a long day and Whopper wasn't in the mood to pose and had just been in her water bowl.

That facial look is what I'm after - still some length I also want length left in his coat. It is so lovely and curly! I will stipulate these things and cross my fingers.
Here is Halas' new haircut. His coat was 8 inches long in places, and it's now probably about 3 or 4 inches long. I was nervous about getting so much cut off, but I think our groomer did a great job. There are a couple of other pics on our page that are from the day he got groomed, which was 4/8, so less than a week ago. The picture below is from 4/11. I think I took in a picture of Whopper because I liked the length on his coat after it was cut. So, my thanks to Whopper's mom.

Chewbacca is a compliment. Ewok would not be!
No problem. I'm glad Whopper's picture could help. It didn't take long for Whopper to get her shaggy teddy bear look back and now we can still see her eyes and she's fluffy. Halas looks really cute in this picture.

I didn't have any length cut off. She just trimed up his face, paws and evened him out a little here and there.
