Toby was acting fine when he got up this morning, and then went outside and threw up a little (he hadn't eaten yet). Then he had a little peanut butter and kibble in his Kong, and threw that all up on my living room carpet. Since then he's eaten nothing, and had nothing to drink. I'm thinking that dogs can get sick just like we can, and that he's just having an off day. He's also been "down" - sleeping/laying down a lot, and spending a lot of time on my feet. Could he possibly have a little tummy bug?
of course - I would stay away from Peanut Butter because of the salmonella issue. If you can get him to eat some mashed banana or rice with broth, it would help. Just give it in very small amounts in case his tummy won't tolerate it. If he will take the broth, you will know that he won't get dehydtated. That is what I did for my human kids and Samantha also.

When my Gordon was a puppy he would sometimes vomit in to morning. He kinda just grew out of it. They advice giving them a bedtime snack and that helps.
Toby is a "grazer", so I put food out in the morning, and he generally doesn't start picking at it till lunch. He then eats off and on all afternoon, and tends to eat more in the evenings. The vet said this was okay. He is just over 5 months old now. He is perfectly fine now - he starting eating after lunch, and hasn't thrown up since. His poops are normal. :)
