Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
We have an on going discussion in the photography group. Shoot the Moon. Many of these shots were taken with a telephoto lens. Not tonight. All you need is a regular camera or even your cell phone. I'll be taking the music of Nora Jones with me ( thank you Donna). Here is the music.
There are a lot of old legions about the SuperMoon: going insane, going blind.. anyway, it is powerful.
BRIAN WILLIAMS explains in this next video about the Supermoon

Try to capture Scale and join us with your pictures in the discussion.
Even if you don't feel like taking pictures, enjoy a beautiful evening outside with your dogs.
Here is how:
The moon will rise at 9:35 EST tonight. The first hour or two is the best for capturing the moon.

OK count me in BUT please give me a couple of qick tips. I'm just an automatic girl with a Canon Rebel XS - at least tell me what mode? Thanks
No mode. Just you and your camera. I'm not going to be doing anything special. I will try to capture the scale ( size ) of the moon and compare it to an ordinary object: a house, a human--similar to the photo above where the people are standing on the hill. I'm hoping to capture the enormity of this moon.
We went outside last night to check it out and will go out again tonight!
I added some things to the discussion.
TIME! That is important.
Moon will rise at 9:35. The first two hours are best
Very cool.... It has been cloudy here in NJ all day... hopefully the sky will clear by 9:35p.m. I will be sure to be outside with my doodles AND camera if I can get a good shot !!!
The only moon I am likely to see tonight is if I catch a glimpse of my own in the bathroom mirror and I try not to do that. :>)
We are shrouded in fog. :<(
I look forward to seeing the photos, have fun and good luck with those pictures, I hope you all get the 'money' shot.
Donna, Skip the pictures :)
Don't worry, I'll skip the pictures too.
Ha, last I looked the same here.
Great idea Joanne. I have an outing tonight, but will be checking in to see photos and will take my camera in case I can sneak out for a minute ;)
