Tonight-Shoot the Moon. The SuperMoon

We have an on going discussion in the photography group.  Shoot the Moon.  Many of these shots were taken with a telephoto lens.  Not tonight.  All you need is a regular camera or even your cell phone.  I'll be taking the music of Nora Jones with me ( thank you Donna).  Here is the music.

There are a lot of old legions about the SuperMoon: going insane, going blind.. anyway, it is powerful.

The moon will rise at 9:35 EST tonight.  The first hour or two is the best for capturing the moon.

I love it Laurie. It is symbolic of how small we are in this giant universe, and thus reflects our need to humble ourselves. you are a jenius. Tu es une vraie artiste! Plus, F is right, it is really clear so you did a good job holding the camea steady. Did you try zooming in a little ;)

Sherri, I don't know what I am doing. I zoomed, but the camera kept un-zooming and my DH said I needed a tripod and well, you can see how it turned out :) I like your symbolism and that you called me a jenius..LOL!!

We took Daisy to potty at 9:50 moon was big and bright in the sky, DH even remarked how beautiful it was, then I came in and checked email and then saw this post by Joanne....grabbed my camera- too late, the clouds have rolled in :o(
