Training whilst Boarding

Being from across the pond I put off going home for as long as possible whilst Harvey and Izzy were so young.  However, parents 50th wedding anniversary was not one to be missed!  I searched and searched and visited many places for my doodles to stay.  Many places were not, dare I say it 'good enough' for my babies.......and then I came across Carlos, a trainer who is trained by Caesar Milan (the dog whisperer).  He took Harvey and Izzy into his home, which he shares with his white standard poodle and some yorkies (which he breads).  My goodness, what an amazing job he has done!  Whilst I was away I received videos of the ongoing training and pictures of their beds next to his and the other members of his doggy family.  Harvey and Izzy were very happy and had big smiles on their faces.  They now have amazing manners and are so well behaved.  Lets just be clear that they were trained a little by me and my dear husband,  lots of people comment on how good they are.  After a trip to downtown Chicago yesterday and lunch outside on Michigan Ave they (and we) were overwhelmed by the comments from passers by.  The first comment was always about how beautiful they were.  The second, how amazingly well behaved.  Money well spent!
