Trifexis WITH Frontline?

Our ALD is on Trifexis.  However, she will be spending some time with our family in the midwest and we need to figure out the best tick prevention, since Trifexis only protects for fleas.  Can I give her frontline as well?  Or will that be too much with double flea preventative?  Or is there a Tick collar you'd recommend instead?  I'd love to find an effective tick collar and not have to give her any other meds.  Anyone used Preventic collar?

Yea....I'm not buying the " how" it works....might get the same result with voodoo and a garlic necklace ;)

Well, I think a ring of garlic would be so much more attractive than a flea collar.  I might try that one since we are so near to Gilroy, the garlic capital.  But the dogs would probably eat the garlic off of each other.  Aren't garlic and onions other dietary no-nos for dogs?
