- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- Grew up with golden retrievers and labs- wanted a dog with similar breed temperament but needed non-shedding for health reasons.

Hi Paul...where in so. cal. are you?.....you LD looks just like our 4mo. old Oliver;).........got him from a breeder in Oregon who flew him down to us!.....we also have a GD who only looks like a golden!!! until she gets wet that is....she is 11 yrs old and tolerating our new one just barely!!! lol.....we live in SGV area.....in Covina.....and there haven't been any doodle romps around here sad to say.......getting ready to start classes with oliver and he does his crate in bedroom nicely...also a pen in living room........which really helps......he is too smart for his own good....I just retired so I get to train him.....;.....
