Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
This is Nahla we finally got to meet her and we are super excited to bring her home. I am curious as to if anyone has one that looked similar to her as a puppy so maybe I can get an idea of what she will look like as an adult. She is an F1 Golden doodle. Her mom is a 50 pound golden retriever and her dad is a 38 lb cream poodle. I know this isn't the best picture quality but it was starting to get dark when we took it. Thanks in advance!

Ohhhhh! I would say that she is likely to turn to apricot based on the two colors that are blending. Unless her mom was a dark red, she'll likely be the cream colors in the pictures above.Usually the F1 pups have the straighter coat, but from what I understand, there is often some variation within a littler of how the puppy coats come out. Either way, she's gonna be a adorable! Such fluffly little puppers!
You could probably also browse through the "groups" on this site because I bet there's one for F1 doodles!
You never know she may be one of the goofy doodles (like ours, an F1 mini goldendoodle) who gets darker as they age ;) She is adorable either way! Luna's dad was an apricot doodle though and not cream, so your little one will probably fade.
Baby Luna: Light apricot
Grown-up Luna: Darker apricot
Wow She did get darker! I love her color. I had never heard of that! She is beautiful! Love the name btw we were debating between Luna, Bella and Nahla so we left it up to my son and he decided on Nahla from the Lion King!
Check out the photos on my profile- I have pictures of Ragley from 3 weeks to 13 months and the texture of Nahla's hair looks similar to Ragley's so I would guess her hair will be a loose wave as an adult, but you never know for sure with these guys! Nahla doesn't look very red in that picture so I would guess she will be cream to apricot as an adult, especially with a cream poodle for a dad, but again- it's all a guessing game :)
I think its the filter I don't have a really good picture these are from the breeder's phone. She does look a lot like her as a puppy! Do you know how much Ragley weighed at 5 weeks by any chance. I know it like playing the lottery but I was curious as to how big other doodles have gotten that weighed 4.5 lbs at her age as well.
Here's pictures of our darling at 10 weeks and then 2 years. Mom was an English Cream Golden Retriever and dad a White standard poodle. My daughter in law got an apricot doodle puppy but now it is all cream colored. Hope you have a great time with your new furbaby...they are lots of work, but very well worth it.
Thanks! I am sure I will be overwhelmed at first it's been a while since we've had a puppy but I still can't wait for her to come home.
Puppies are a lot of work and demand a great deal of patience. However it's well worth the work and the patience...
