Trying to Think Out "Flat Doodle"

So now that my 'big party' is over and my days are a little less hectic, I have been trying to think out the logistics for the "Flat Doddle".  I need some help, suggestions and feedback...

How should we get the addresses of the people who want to participate?  Should we set up a page like we do for the Christmas cards?  Do we just follow the list in order to send him, or do we send to who we want and cross the name off the list so others can choose?  How do you think he should travel?  First class as in a larger manilla type envelope or thru' economy in a legal sized envelope where he could be folded....  Who will become "Flat Doodle?  I was thinking of either using our cute new logo doodle and blowing him up (and laminating him) or if I get creative enough, maybe using the shape of a doodle and trying to use bits of pictures from participants to make up Mr. Flat.  Or.. perhaps the doodle that Camilla drew up with the sign in his mouth (if that's ok with Camilla). 

As far as the actual "visit".... I was thinking that if we all took a picture with Flat Doodle and sent it... the envelope would get quite heavy.  So how 'bout we just post the picture on here and write a little about where he went with you and what he did.  Perhaps sign the back of him with your DK name and location.  Or... I can include maps of the US, Canada, and world and you can identify on that???  Or.... somehow use a map online????

 

So these are the things that flood my brain each night as I try and go to sleep.... what do you all think?

Shelly, you got yourself into a project now didn't you. Maybe we take a picture with the last picture and then send the new picture on only? But then it would be hard to see.

Laurie's idea is good - do we need to set up a Flat Doodle Group then?

Shelly, I sympathize with you. I kept asking myself a couple of weeks ago when I was mailing Intercourse shirts and ordering Intercourse shirts and writing the rules out for the Photo Caption Contest what I had started.  Joanne and Leslie had so much fun with that shirt, that I realized it was a good idea after all. You will get this all worked out in no time and then the fun begins.

Oh,,,,, speaking of buttons.... flat doodle could be a button (Shelly, you know the kind we use at school for sports etc) and the recipient could wear it for the activities....

I think this would be so much fun! I am computer challenged but is there a way to send th photo to a page and these photos can be seen as an ever growing slideshow. ?
