Ukon's Red Eye Flight to Jersey

I am happy and sad to say that Ukon is leaving our house tonight. Sad, because he is the most lovable, huggable pup I have ever been around. He is the first pup I have ever seen initiate the hugging process time and time again.

He is taking a red eye to Newark, NJ this evening to begin his new life with Jan Barrish, her pup Murphy, and the rest of their family bright and early tomorrow morning. I am happy because Jan has been anxiously waiting to meet her new pup. She has only seen pictures and videos and heard about him from other DK members. This will be Jan's first doodle, which makes it even more special! She has been researching doodles for many years and has decided it is time to see what all the hype is about.

I am also happy that Ukon is heading to NJ because Murphy has been depressed lately. His two best friends have passed over the last year. Murphy keeps looking for them and saving all his treats to share with them. We think Ukon is going to be the perfect pup to befriend Murphy and get him wagging again. Ukon has been everyone's best friend in our household. He has a big job ahead of him but we think he will be able to do it!
