Sorry it took so long for an update, life got crazy around here. I love the bath tub and so does Gus! On Sunday I found an adapter for my laundry sink faucet to connect a hose to, I looked around the garage and thought "how wet am I going to get this place?." Decided since it was my first time with the new tub I would put the hose adapter on my kitchen sink faucet and run the hose through my garden window onto the patio. It worked so great! I wasn't wet at all! Gus was tethered in, part of the tub. I trimmed his paws, dried him he couldn't grab at the towel............Even blew him dry without running around the bathroom saying "wait, stay, come, leave it, back up, sit...........!" He was contained in the tub. We had so much fun or maybe I should say "I had so much fun." He was embarrassed when I tried to make him look like a lion. Blow drying his top notch he looked so girlie! Tonight he's back to good old dirty Gus! Poor guy he doesn't know how much mom loves the new tub and how easy it is.

I had been debating over getting that tub - now I will bit the bullet and spend the money. Especially now with 2!!!
Thank you for following up with your review - very much appreciated!!

Look at you - I can tell you are just giddy over your new baby! lol
so you were able to use warm water? What are the dimensions of the tub? Thanks.
Yes warm water, take your faucet aerator off and take it to your local hardware store and tell the you want an adapter for a garden hose you need the aerator for sizing. The approximate dimensions of the tub are 51 inches long, 22 inches wide & 13 inches deep. When the box arrived it looked so small, really didn't think Gus would fit in it but he does with plenty of room
LOL! I think in picture #2, he looks more like the Wizard of OZ!!! Too funny. I wasn't thinking of buying this tub after the first time I say it cuz it is so big, but when I saw that you can tether him to it, that changed my mind. Remind me again, did you order it from Costco or Sams Club?
Ordered it from Costco,
I have had this tub for a year...would not ever want to be without it. It is worth the investment.
How did you get him up into the tub???
I was also contemplating getting this tub. Good to hear that it works so well. Need something soon to make it easier to clean 2 dirty doodles.

What did you use to get him in?
If you look at the "wet Gus" picture you'll see a blue storage container on the patio at the end of the tub, that's his step stool. It worked great.
We just got this and used it for the first time on Sunday. We ordered it from Costco for $149 and free shipping. It's great!! When we first got it, we put it in the living room without the legs and let the doods get used it - threw in treats. Then a couple of days later we went to the beach and put it to use. We got an adapter for our kitchen faucet and set it up on the patio. Using warm water seems to make a big difference in the dood's enjoyment level. Both dogs love the water but have never been real fond of bathing. My dh is going to build a ramp for future use. Eventually, we plan on setting this up in our garage. Even with warm water it gets a little cold in Oregon to bath outside!
Would highly recommend this!
This looks great! My dog is getting pretty smelly these hot summer days from his walks in the woods and streams. He smells like a bog. Do you think this could be used indoors in a laundry room? Also- has anyone ever bathed their dog in a shower enclosure? We just renovated a house and it has a 42 x 42" shower stall. The seamless glass surround and door will be installed on Friday. I purposely installed a shower nozzle that is on a long hose so I could clean it easily and also to hose down the doodle. He is very large so I can just picture the chaos. Has anyone tried this. He will NOT get into the bathtub with any coaxing-even treats so I was hoping because this was at his level he might let us lead him in. So far-he has just been bathed at the groomers and he is 10 1/2 mths old and 80 lbs.
