Update on Johnny Boy

Hi friends. Just a quickie update. Johnny Boy got a "clean bill of health" from his blood work at the vet today. I knew he would as he is practically back to his old silly, sweet self again. Mind you, he lost 5lbs in weight during this entire ordeal and I probably gained 5lb from "stress" eating. On a very irritating note....his stupid mum (me) who also happens to be a seasoned RN (so this is unforgivable) did not get enough cells on his DNA swab and was informed today that I would be sent a new sample kit and we would have to redo it and wait another torturous two to three weeks for the results....aye carumba....I am so frustrated with myself but I guess the fact that he is well again, is what really matters. Just wanted to thank everyone for such an outpouring of support and I will be in touch regarding his breed in about three weeks...

Frances...I feel like I have dropped off the ends of the Earth!  I have been MIA for a while with many family things...the latest was a 10 day visit from my 4 grand kids, son and DIL.  They were all here in my under 1800 sq ft house!!!!  Yipes...7 yrs., 5 yrs., 3 yrs. and 8 months.  I never got on my computer and just now am coming out of the fog and numbness from having constant screaming, temper tantrums and demands.  John and I actually almost went crazy and were so disappointed after looking forward to their visit.  There are no Rules, Boundaries or Limitations with them.  Even Gracie Doodle is better behaved than they are!  Those rules should apply to humans as well as dogs.  So, while all this was going on your poor Johnny Boy was ailing.  I feel like a terrible friend to not have known and sent my thoughts and love your way.  I now have just read that all is well.  I love the photo of that beautiful boy that you posted on the discussion.  Hugs to you, Jim, Frankie Girl and Johnny Boy!
