I was just on an outing to banish the cabin fever. Drove about 20 minutes to an outdoor mall, finally found a parking space and then we walked maybe 10 minutes. Too cold, about 27 although it was minus 1 when I went to bed last night. And it was windy! But on the way home I was listening to the blues. How good. I heard Wang Dang doodle and that immediately cheered me up. And made me think of DK.

And inspired me to play more music. Sadly I hardly ever listen to music at home although I love many kinds of music. The receiver, CD and casette player are ancient, I can hardly get the station I was playing in the car so I could use a new one. Hopefully compact and wonderful. Any recommendations?

Ohhhh that must be a WONDERFUL memory. I never got to hear her in person but understand she put on quite a show! Listening to some of her old cuts can still bring chills.
If you haven't seen the video, it's a must, if only for the reactions from the audience. Cass Elliot was visibly blown away, no small feat.
"Buried Alive" is the best of the bios on her.
I love Pandora……use it a lot on my iPad while I'm reading on my iPad.
