Wang Dang Doodle and Good All in one Player

I was just on an outing to banish the cabin fever. Drove about 20 minutes to an outdoor mall, finally found a parking space and then we walked maybe 10 minutes. Too cold, about 27 although it was minus 1 when I went to bed last night. And it was windy! But on the way home I was listening to the blues. How good. I heard Wang Dang doodle and that immediately cheered me up. And made me think of DK.

And inspired me to play more music. Sadly I hardly ever listen to music at home although I love many kinds of music. The receiver, CD and casette  player are ancient, I can hardly get the station I was playing in the car so I could use a new one. Hopefully compact and wonderful. Any recommendations?

Ohhhh that must be a WONDERFUL memory.  I never got to hear her in person but understand she put on quite a show!  Listening to some of her old cuts can still bring chills.

This song is on my CD. So sad she died so young but too many little pieces of her heart taken I guess. And maybe all that intensity led to the drugs. We're talking of seeing the show in NY but we'll see.

Totally love Pandora radio on my IPad which i then play on my Bose mini. I play the Blues and dancevin the kitchen with the dogs. My kids think im nuts. They may be right (but who cares). Pandora is free and allows you to customize what you want to hear.
