Wanted- More Christmas card exchangers!

Last year I had such a good time being in the Christmas card exchange group! This year we have not had as  many people sign up. I hope that more of you will consider joining.

Those cards are fun to look at all year and they really help when talking to someone online. You get to put faces to those names you are so familiar with (Mostly Doodle faces). It really helps to make us more familiar with your precious Doodle and think of them all like "family"! Plus they always look so cute in their holiday attire!

It really makes you feel special when you go to the mailbox and find it full of Christmas cards! That's a rare occurrence these days. I know that even DH started to look forward to receiving them last year even though he started out thinking I was crazy. He said "Why would I want all that extra mail?" But when those cute little faces started rolling in, he was hooked. Every day he would ask "How many did you get today?"

I enjoyed mine so much that I kept them up all year. Even though I'm sure my visitors and friends think I am "that crazy dog lady"! I am really looking forward to it again this year and hope to convince more of you to join! You can be as creative or as plain as you would like. There are no special requirements. You just have to be willing to send out at least 50 cards. You can find good deals on custom cards on place like, Snapfish, Shutterfly and Tinyprints…etc.

For me, this is one of my favorite things about Christmas!! You will not regret joining! I have saved all the cards from every year and when I volunteered at the Assisted Living place I always took them in and shared with the residents.

I'll bet the residents really enjoyed that! It always seems to me that even if they were not dog lovers all their life, the older people get, they really start to love them.
