What a Whirlwind Year Fudge and Vern Have Had with William and Kate!

Many of you might remember that Fudge and Vern were invited to the Royal Wedding. We don't want to sound like name droppers, but William and Kate are very good friends with Fudge and Vern.  There were a couple of minor glitches that day, but overall, Fudge and Vern were on their best behavior.  In honor of the one year anniversary we thought we would share some favorite photos.

They got a little bored before the start of the wedding:

Vern found a mud hole right before the big dress reveal and luckily avoided stepping on the train.  This was a very close call:

They even got to go on the Honeymoon, although they had to wait for a taxi:

Fudge and Vern have also been to a couple of fancy schmancy engagements with the Royal Couple this first year:

When William and Kate got a new puppy, Fudge and Vern were right there to help with the little guy:

Well it certainly has been an exciting year for our trans-Atlantic travellers!  I wonder if they talked to Kate about Intercourse... (PA)?

I want to know when they are going to be Sir Vern and Dame Fudge? Don't you think it is time considering all the most excellent ways they have enhanced the realm and contributed to the well being of the Royal Family?

Very good points, Ricki. We definitely need to be referring to these royal subjects as Sir and Dame. They royal family is lucky to have such magnificent assistants training their puppy. These doodles represent America well, although I'm noticing that their fascinators resemble those of a couple of sisters who shall remain nameless that have a sort of trans-Atlantic lifestyle...

LOL...the hats were originally Fudge and Vern's. The other two sisters copied off of them.  I am not sure if letting them assist in the royal training of the new puppy is in everyone's best interest :)

I never realized that what that Royal Wedding Portrait was missing was two doodles in the foreground! Now, it is complete!

Fudge and Vern have certainly had a busy year with the Royals! And kudos to their security people for managing to keep them out the tabloids during all these public engagements!
