What am I doing wrong?

I just don't understand how everyone but me has so much time to be on DK? And to play games!!!

I barely have time to read all the interesting posts, let alone participate in the games that keep popping up. I just don't get it.

I only work 32 hours a week, I have no young children, I hardly cook meals, I have the usual cleaning, shopping and doodle maintence, so how is it I see so many here for hours and hours playing games?

What am I doing wrong? How do you do it? Do you have a little computer you carry everywhere with you? Do you have a beep or sound to alert you when a new post is made so you are notified right away? I must be missing something....

Oh my gosh you guys are all so funny! This is such a great post and topic! I felt so obsessed that I spend so much time on this site and have stayed up so late at night going thru this site, before I even have my doodle!!!

Oh gosh Kate, You're a goner already!!! I found this site researching the breed 6 months before I even got my first doodle and here I am 3 years later still obsessed!

I spend a lot of my time answering emails during the day and often take little breaks to check in here.  I also do FB and Twitter which are work related.  This is my only place for just me.  I am also an early riser so I'm usually on DK early in the morning with my breakfast on the side!

me too. And at night I bring my laptop to bed and catch up on all the DK I missed while out playing with the doodles.

Yup, laptop in bed! DH just loves that! He has definitely resolved to it by now though.

My secret to lots of time on-line is that I have a very small house, no husband, no paying job, and no real (as opposed to virtual) social life, lol. I do 15 minute increments...15 minutes cleaning, 15 minutes on DK, 15 minutes throwing a ball for JD, 15 minutes doing DRC emails, 15 minutes on DK...you get the picture.

You have a lot of restraint then, because I tell myself "just 20 min" and an hour later I am kicking myself because i didn't get anything else done.!!! Drives me crazy. I think there are subliminal messages coming through DK to keep us here!

Sue, this is EXACTLY what I do!!! Too funny. In fact, I started on DK tonight at 5:00 CDT. I said to myself, ok, NO LONGER than 7:30 CDT. Yep. It's after 10:00 CDT. That plan didn't go so well.
