Any day that I wake up this side of the grass and have my dogs around me is wonderful.  However, I have heard from good authority that Heaven is the place you will find all the dogs you have ever loved running up to greet you again!

 

Of course, i also love it when I take Holly out and everybody gushes over her.  Holly and Sophie on a tandem lead also get attention.

Days when we can get up to the forest preserve dog park and walk in the woods together. I love the way JD will get so far up the trail ahead of me and then circle back to make sure I'm still following him!

Now that the weather and the trails have cleared, I love a day that my little hiking partner and I go out in the wilderness. Stella is doing great at being off leash on our hikes. It is so much fun to watch her sniff and explore all of natures wonder! It is great exercise for both of us and replenishes our spirits!

oh, I loooove sharing my pillow with Lola. The best is in the evening, when she curls up on the couch and rests her head on my legs. I could cry she's so adorable!

Awww man ... weekends ... when I can relax and hang out with my dood ... just enjoy him, whatever we're doing, instead of rushing off to work at 6am and coming home at 4 or 5pm too tired to do much more than pat him on the head and tell him he's wonderful, "now go away and let mama recover" ... whether we're just slobbing out at home, like today, or going out to find adventures at the park or pet store, any day I get to spend time with him is special.
