What Do Fudge and Vern Need to Do To Make the Slideshow??

Fudge and Vern are upset that week after week goes by and they can't get their pictures in the slideshow. I tried to explain to them that maybe I am not tagging our photos correctly, but they don't care.  Vern realizes that he is not always the cleanest Doodle around, but keeps hoping that one of these days, the pictures will be of Dirty Dogs. Fudge understands why messy Vern never gets chosen, but she tries to stay clean, and even if she is not, she is chocolate, so no one can tell, but still she gets overlooked week after week. What is a Doodle to do?

Should Fudge flash a little more leg?

Does Vern need to unbutton another button and show a little more chest hair?

Does Vern need to clean up his act?

Comb his hair more?

Does Fudge need to stop monkeying around?

Stop being such a sour grape?

Do both of them drink too much and set a bad example?

Hang around with the wrong crowd?

Or could it be because they can both be a little Cheesy?

Vern is so upset he went to bed early the other night with a terrible headache!

Fudge is working through her pain, too!

Fudge and Vern just want you to know, they will no longer Roll Over and Play Dead regarding this Travesty!!

They are willing to start paying someone off to get in that slideshow and will no longer look the other way!

We are open to any and all suggestions!!

Fudge, my mom keeps taking pictures of the GRANDDAUGHTER.  I mean I love the little tyke, especially when she feeds me from her high chair, but why does Mom need a kazillion pictures of her?  She just keeps saying things like, "OOOO, she is growing so fast!" and "OOOO, she looks so cute with her hair cut." and 'OOOO, I want to see catch her playing with ..... or wearing...... or eating....."   Love, Nedderbudder

Oh, Vern, let's make a Dirty Doodles club.  My mom hasn't taken a picture of me really dirty yet - maybe she is still worried the pound would take me their puppy back or something if they saw it.  But, she has some good ones of Ned all down and dirty.  Love, Clancy

P.P.S  Look on the slide show. There is even a Fudge look-alike named Hershey.  I guess Hershey's mom knows how to bribe Adina.  Cookies must not be the right bait.

Sorry, I meant to say I'm sorry they are feeling blue, I have been thinking maybe not being naked doodles is not flattering to Adina? LOL! I can't help the girls, they go into there little container and put the stuff on when they are bored! I'm thinking we have all the new doodle puppies as competition??? Ours were puppies once too!

Laurie, you continue to crack me up with your posts! But I do agree with you and I think they should be in their own slide show - The Fudge & Vern Show. Its for sure, if it included photos like the above, it would make everyone smile when the looked at it!!

I heard a rumour a while back that Laurie's mom is in charge of the slide show and in order to punish Laurie for her mis-information in the Neil Diamond blog, she is purposefully excluding Fudge and Vern until Laurie sets the record straight.  Not sure if this is true, but in light of current events, it sure seems likely!

I don't know WHAT you're complaining about.  Last I looked Fudge and Vern were plastered all over the slide show.  In fact I have a hard time keeping them out of the slide show and sometimes, like now, it's just not possible.

AND they are in the calendar!!!  If I were you, Laurie, I'd stop making a big deal about Fudge and Vern not being in a recent slide show.  The squeaky wheel may get the grease, but it could also irritate the calendar-picture-chooser, and they may be excluded from future calendars!!!  Of course, this comment comes from someone whose cute little puppy is occasionally in a slideshow, but has never been in the calendar!  LOL
