What Do You Want on Your DK Tee Shirts?

As we get our new logo products ready in our store, we'd like to get your creative, witty, fun ideas for a few phrases we can put on our tee shirts (besides just the DK Logo).

 

For example:

 

My Labradoodle is Smarter Than Your Honor Student

 

My Grandaughter is a ... Goldendoodle?

 

Love Me, Love My Doodle!

 

UPDATE: We won't be adding new 'images' or drawings except for our logo.  We can NOT do bandanas.  I'm only looking for phrases--nothing else for now.

 

And as you read through other people's suggestions, respond to them individually if you like any a lot.  We'll use it as a voting procedure of sorts to see what would be most desirable to members.

Maybe we need something that shows the difference so we can educate people:

 

Labrador Retriever + poodle = Labradoodle

Golden Retriever + poodle = Goldendoodle

I've noticed at the dog park, we tend to ask each other-is yours a doodle? Then the other person can specify which kind.

I always get asked, at least several times a week, if she's a portie. I love porties but I'm just tired of answering the question - and she's only 6 months!

I am liking a lot of your suggestions!  Remember that there are a dozen styles of just plain WHITE tees.  So to get several phrases onto just those alone will fill up the store with tees pretty quickly and make choosing difficult.  While we can add some black and perhaps a few other colors, I can't custom make every color and phrase combo. 

 

Some styles of shirts, like polo t-shirts, only allow a small design where a pocket would be and then a larger design on the back. Do most of you who like polos want a large saying on the back?  Also the back + front styles end up costing more too.  We'll probably put lots of options out there and then remove the tees that don't sell as well and keep the ones that seem most popular.

 

Finally we are limiting designs to phrases and our logo--we won't be adding drawings or other images.  So all we are looking for is short phrases/sayings for people and dog shirts right now.   CafePress does not sell bandanas.

I think whatever you end up choosing, will be loved by most of us.  I think our new logo is pretty cute even by itself and while all of our suggestions are very fun, a few of them really do lend themselves to what you have in mind. I do think  humorous suits more dk members because that seems to be how we roll.  We can probably find the general ones now - I heart my labradoodle or goldendoodle for example, so something a bit more dk would be fun.  I truly think that a hoodie would be tremendously popular.  I prefer zip ups to over-the-head, but know that I would buy whatever was available. A hoodie with the dk logo would be great all by itself as would the polo.

I would prefer color for two reasons. White might be the least popular color because clothing + doodle paws = dirt. I know I would want to wear my t-shirt or hoodie to doodle events and camping but white and dog parks or camping - not too good.  Also, I would like to have more than one and color choices would allow that.

It may be just me, but I also would prefer a t-shirt that is designed for females rather than the blocky unisex traditional one. Since I am older, I tend not to wear  guy-shaped tees any more. 

But again, whatever the majority would wear +  reasonable cost would be the best choice.

They have several 'female' tee shirts, several 'male', and several 'unisex' type too.  Also tank tops and polo shirts.  So I've been feverishly working on getting some initial variety and options and we can always add MORE later.

I agree, Nancy...LOVE LOVE LOVE the hoodies esp. with the saying Doodle in the hood!   I think Navy would look real nice with the orange, black and white... Here in NY - those are Syracuse University colors and they look GREAT!  (NOT that I'm a 'Syracuse fan" or anything... just visit a lot - lol)
