Ok, here's the scoop.  But first let me say thank you to Karen for keeping my secret for way too long.  When we lost Sophie we knew we would most like eventually want another puppy, but weren't sure when.  I knew I wanted to continue with my Therapy Pet work and Lucy wasn't interested.  We knew that if we did our homework and selected a breeder following everything we have learned here, that we would most likely end up on a wait list.  We wanted an F1, wavey coated, Standard size with a therapy dog temperment.  When I narrowed down to my choice of breeder they had just had an F1 Standard liter and unfortunately they were all spoken for.  They weren't scheduled for another F1 Standard liter for a year.  Many breeders are now doing mediums and mini's.  So, we discussed it and ended up putting  down a deposit on a medium liter that was scheduled to be born in June and ready to go home in August.   Hoping for a BIG medium.  Then a couple weeks ago we got an e-mail saying there might be a cancellation in the Standard liter and we would be the first call.  We decided "What is Meant to Be Will Be" and just waited all the while watching the weekly photos and picking our favorites.  After week six photos were posted I fell in love with little orange girl!  That was last Wednesday.  On Friday night I got the call from the DRC about Honey.  Mike and I discussed it and just decided we wanted to help Honey and if it turned out we got a puppy too we would just figure it out.  So on Saturday we told the DRC ok, then on Sunday evening got the E-mail saying Little Orange Girl is Yours if you want her.  So after a lengthly conversation with the breeder we decided it was just meant to be.  I knew when it was little orange girl that was still available that it was meant to be.  Yesterday we spent 6 hours in the car taking Honey to Indy and today another 12+ picking up AnnaBelle.  Friday we will be heading back to Indy to pick up Honey.  Crazy times at our house right now.

Sheri, I just know you must have had tears in your eyes when you first saw her, because I've got tears in mine right now! She is just gorgeous! Crazy times at your house for sure, but happy ones, too!

I have a feeling this pup is related to FLASH? Maybe.  Well, I've looked and wished on,  this litter for months.  For me, it is not going to happen. Maybe Spud will have those puppies soon. Geesh, I hope he is pregnant.   So glad she is with you because if not, she was coming with me!  LOL
