Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Melissa of Porter and I were recently discussing what sign we would hang in our entry if we wanted to instruct our arriving guests how to "behave" in our homes-especially in regard to interacting with our doodles.

Melissa's was:

"If you are female please shower the dog in the armchair with attention

If you are male please ignore the dog until your third visit"

Mine would be:

"Please remove your shoes and keep your hands at your sides"

Okay, the SHOE part is for me but "hands at your sides" is because people waving their hands about seem to trigger some friendly "spaz out and attack" mechanism in Tara.

What would your sign say?

People would get a LOT of exercise at my house, Anna!! :)

I like the

NO touch

NO talk

NO eye contact

Then I'd add....And ignore the dog, too

LOL!! Good one Pat!!
Jacks sign would say, Rub my belly and no one gets jumped on!!!!
Jack must REALLy love his belly rubs to give up jumping for them!! LOL!!

Well I totally agree with Laurie on this one and people REALLY do I know sad, but funny!

We also have one that says caution: dog can't hold it's licker because Myla will lick you to your grave if you let her!

LOL! I LOVE that "dog can't hold it's licker"!!!  I've never heard that one before!!

I had to laugh when I read this because I could just imagine stepping into someone's entry and seeing a sign that said "Brace Yourself!""! LOL!!
