So Ace is in a cone collar and cannot be crated when my husband and kids leave in a little bit for work and school. I get home from work at 9:20, so Ace will be free roaming for about an hour and 20 minutes. He'll probably not be up to doing anything mischievous because of the cone, but it's the first time he have free roam alone. I'm more worried about how he'll do alone with the health issues he's been having.

Can't wait until 9:20. So nervous!!!!!

I only get to come in here once in a while, but I've been wondering about Ace!  I'm glad he's ok and wow he had free roam of the house and everything is in tact!  Great news!

:-)

Funny story I have to share... years ago I had a very headstrong Samoyed that needed to wear a a VERY large cone after anal gland problems. She LOVED her crate and was obviously very sad that she seemingly couldn't get in it with her cone on. About 4 hours after being home from the vet, I heard this horrible racket coming from the bedroom. It sounded like the she was going nuts in there! Here she had rammed herself into her kennel, turned around and was resting peacefully with her big cone sticking out the door. It was quite the sight! I wish I had taken a picture.... :-)

LOL!!! That is hilarious!!!!

Good boy Ace :)
