What Would You and Your Doodle Do?

I posted this video earlier in Sally's discussion about her duck . Afterward I got to thinking about how this fellow and his dog handled this situation and wondered what Tara and I would have done had it been us.

I'm pretty sure Tara would have made a nose dive under my seat if there was room and left me to fend for myself. Otherwise she would have cowered in a corner of the boat screaming her head off. As for me I probably would have cowered in a corner screaming my head off too! LOL!

I found it interesting how calm the Chesapeake Bay Retriever remained under this situation. Even when the bird was right on her!  She seemed to totally trust the man to take care of the situation. Which is what I would hope Tara could do too.

 How do you think this scenario would have played out if it had been you and your doodle in the boat??

Crying, screaming and jumping overboard seem to be the reaction of choice-at least for the people!! LOL!

Wow!  That really is a crazy goose!  And such a long-suffering dog!  I think Trav would try to run, but once the goose bit him he'd fight back, with lots of growling and snarling.  Can't believe how persistent that goose was!

Pat I think that goose was possessed!!!  I can see Trav taking him out!! I don't think he would tolerate being pecked on by some crazy goose!!

OMG... the poor dog really took getting bitten in the butt by a goose really well, poor baby.  Sasha probably would of freaked out and Oliver would of tried playing with the goose.  Me... well I would of freaked !!!

Barbara I read that those geese can weigh up to 15 pounds or more! It would be like a 15 pound bag of feathers being hurled at you!!  I think that man made the right choice by making a fast retreat!!!

Don't let this happen to you!! Apparently you don't ever want to call a goose "dumb"!

Wow quite the video and dumb duck! Myla would go Tazmanian Devil on it! Chloe's tale would be between her legs!

Sounds like Chloe and Tara are a pair!!  Myla would be the Hero!! Heroine???
