I’m a little concerned. Leo just turned 7 and he has these episodes a couple times a year. Wheezing. I showed the vet the video and he was not concerned. I get nervous when I see him do this. Anyone else experience this?

It would help if we could see /hear the video, lol. But as long as your vet has seen it and doesn't think it is anything to be concerned about, I would try to relax and go with that. Over the years, my dogs have made all kinds of strange noises from time to time, and none of them ever turned out to be anything to worry about.

I managed to upload a video

That sounds like reverse sneezing to me. It always sounds awful, but it's just a thing they do. Nothing to be too concerned about.

Vern has done that same type of sneezing/wheezing. It is very infrequent and doesn't last long. I usually tell him to calm down or talk soothingly to him and it seems to go away. I have no idea what causes it, but he seems fine when it is over.

Seems to be reverse sneezing.  If you cover both of his nostrils and gently massage his throat for a few seconds it will force him to swallow and stop the spasm.  My Oliver went through a period of doing it and I found that the more nervous I acted, the longer it continued.
