When did your doodle start barking?

Timbow will be 6 months old on June 9 and has only barked 3 times. I know most people think that I won some kind of non-barking dog lottery, but it concerns me a little. I don't want him to start barking at everything, but it would be nice if he barked when someone came to the door. Has this happened to anyone else?

I think when he finds something worthy of barking at he will. Abby has recently found her voice and finds wayyy too many things worthy of barking at... - lol

Roo started barking the day I brought him home. Tigger, my second doodle probably still would not have barked if he had not learned it from Roo! You did win the doodle lottery. I wish my doodles did not bark at the doorbell,etc.

I had an English Springer Spaniel who almost never barked and she lived to be 15. I much prefer it to my current barkers. Some dogs just don't bark and some you just can't seem to stop barking at things.
