My Vet has a billboard up that February is National Teeth Cleaning Month and they are offering a discount...

Bailey will be 2 in May and eats a healthy Orijen diet with not a lot of extras..I do not see any yellowing on her teeth and want to make sure they stay a pearlie white...

When do you have your doodles teeth cleaned?

I have read some articles that in some states it is illegal for anyone except a vet to clean a dogs teeth.  Although some groomers are ignoring the law.

JD's favorite vet tech has occasionally hand-scaled some of his teeth, but that requires a dog with a very cooperative nature, lol. She told me that she had never been able to do that without a second tech present with any other dog. And of course, no anesthetics or IV are used.

Half of the dogs I see at my groomer's have to be muzzled just to have their nails cut, so I can't even imagine how she would be able to do much teeth cleaning! She does brush their teeth if you want it, though.
