Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
I love to see other parts of the world but have no funds to travel right now. I'd love to see where you guys walk your doodles. That way I can live vicariously. Post a photo in the comments, it would be nice but not necessary if your doodle was in the photo. You can share as much as you feel comfortable about the location.
Here's one of my favorite trails. It is in NY state a little bit north of NYC. It is a narrow trail that runs along the Hudson River with the Palisades cliffs right next to the path. So pretty, so quiet. This path can get really crowded. I usually prefer to walk alone in the middle of the woods. I may have to try to get a photo on one of our usual desolate hikes.
That is me and my doggy. Notice the loose leash??? It's a work in progress. :)
So where do you walk your doodle?

Our favorite place to walk is at the cottage. Our place is located on the Bruce Trail - a very scenic area along the Niagara Escarpment overlooking Georgian Bay. Here is the a picture of the escarpment:
And the laneway to our cottage:
And Gavin dipping his feet in the bay:
Oh boy, I can't wait for summer!
Wow!
Even though it is 16 miles from our home we go when ever we can because Daisy "owns" the place. Every weekend day and weather permitting every day on our way home from work we go to Munroe Falls Metro Park.
Problem: on Memorial Day weekend they open the lake for the season, we have yet to find another place to go...oh woe is me.
Beautiful!
Yup.
Wow, my family used to go to Munroe Falls when I was a little kid in the summer. Forgot all about it until you mentioned!
Looks so pretty! Love the second photo.
Our favorite place is the off-leash dog park near our house called Conroy Pit. It's not your typical fenced dog park, more of a woodland trail that allows dogs off leash.
It's about a 5 minute drive away, so very convenient - we go 3 days a week if weather permits. It takes us about an hour to do the full circuit of the main trail, depending on how many dogs Luna plays with along the way!
We tend to go at the same time of day and meet the same dogs - many of which Luna recognizes on sight and greets/plays with enthusiastically. She also recognizes the 2-legged friends who are always up for giving her some rubs.
I don't have any winter pictures apparently, maybe I should take some today!
Looks fun!
