The girls are up for their annual microchip registry renewal. HomeAgain is charging $17.99 per doodle. Anyone know of a good registry that either is free or costs less?
There are mixed reviews about ResQ chips and the company's record keeping of the pets info.

Shocking, no? Now had someone posted they were a Home Again representative and given a reasonable response to concerns I would never have looked. But a biased response slamming competitors from a company with deceptive marketing makes you wonder and look around a bit.
I do believe perhaps a relative was speaking for him.
I am not a home again rep. I was just responding to false information about having to nenew home again yearly. Sandy, please tell me where I sam wrong. My aplogies, I thught the original post was on having to renew anually
And what is the problem with being a bus driver? I don't see ther need to get personal.
Also, it's one thing to clarify the information about having to renew annually, and another thing to post a very long sales pitch aggrsssively extolling the virtues of every aspect your son's product while denigrating all of the competitors' products in a very snarky way. That was unnecessary and rubbed a lot of us the wrong way. Your first paragraph was all that was necessary.
The kids are registered with both and I just pray I never have to use their services!!
On the 'renewal' form I got, it does have both chips numbers with my contact info - all correct!!!
Chance's microchip number is on his identification tag, registered with his vet, and also with city and county animal control. It is up to me to keep the identification tag current with my phone number and also with the vet and city and county. If he ever gets lost and placed in a kill shelter, my hope and prayer is that he can be traced back to me.
Both Boris and Riley came to me already chipped and all I had to do was register with the company on-line. There is no fee for change of address or numbers if we move and no annual fee. It's a once off payment which was paid by the Breeders. I checked that both dogs are traceable back to me and all is as it should be.
Can I ask what you mean about the "mixed reports of ResQ Chips" and the information/record keeping? I missed that, and we have BB chipped with ResQ
I know that for me, anyone with the microchip # can look it up right on petlink.net , to access our information: address, phone, vet, etc. It is easy for me to update whenever I want. free. forever.
