Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Hello Friends,

I need your help!
My DH found this lovely little old lady on his morning walk, no lish, no collar or tags. She's a sweetheart, well-groomed and well behaved, has no front teeth. She loves cuddling and cries unless she's in your arms -- so she's obviously missing from someone's home. We are trying to figure out what next steps are. We've already contacted the police, petAmber allert, Fidofinder.com. We're also trying to figure out her breed. Any breed detectives out there? She's very small, maybe 10-15 pounds and looks a little bit like a schnauzer.
We would love to offer her a new home, but with two doodles, a senior cat and a teenager, we've reached our wild-animal capacity. Does anyone have suggestions on what to do with this sweet girl while we look for her family? Or maybe a service in the Illinois area that can help? We'd feel bad leaving her at a shelter but can't offer anything more than temporary housing.

Oh Olga, this is just the best update! I am so glad that Dulcinea will be staying with you! Thank you!!!!!

How good of you to keep Dulcinea and care for her.
Dulciena found her Guardian Angel! Love!

Olga, thank you for caring for this poor little dog!  I will never understand how some folks can just "throw away" a senior dog.  Bless you and your husband for taking her in and making her part of your family!!!

I am so happy for you and her, She is very lucky it was you who found her and there must be a reason. I am sure the is a return on caring for animals or people in need.

Olga - you and your husband are truly angels for keeping this little one.  I'm sure her previous family dumped her because of her age and health issues.  Your husband was meant to find her.......thank you both!

.... and he spent his days living happily ever after.

Karma, Olga. Karma.   Good things are coming your way
