Who has the Oldest Doodle on this site?

I just saw the most beautiful doodle named Teddy on this site and read that he is 6 years old. Do we have any doodles that are older than that on Doodlekisses?

I can post Historic doodes-my two right now are only two, but I grew up with two doodles who lived to be 17 yrs and 13 yrs.

DeeDee the black girl in the picture, was adopted by my parents from a neighbor who had a litter of puppies. I was only 4 (1969) and she had a litter because my parents, well procrastinated in getting her fixed and let her get with a neighbor boy who looked just like Daisy, whoops. That is where Daisy the black and white Parti girl in the picture came from. She was my dog.....They where the two most wonderful dogs to grow up with, I was close to 21 when DeeDee passed and I still think of the two of them often, so much so when I saw my little Brianna's picture at a breeders site, I scooped her up....and Duncan too, they have such a similar personality to DeeDee and Daisy, sweet, gentle, and the best dogs for my girls to grow up with I think

Thanks for posting the pictures and the history behind them. I can't believe a 17 year old. I never even heard of this type of dog up until 2 years ago.

ps I have pictures in a book just like you have. That totally dates us. :)

haha yes..love those 70 styles, lol. At least I was too young for the Disco garb. But what is up with the haircut and colorful shirt. I have a PBGV at home right now that will be 19 or 20 (we found him in 1991 so we guess) Chuckie is going strong, he got me up at 5am this morning to tell me about the pan in the sink from last nights roast, I could have crowned him! A very spunky fellow.

I had to look up the spelling Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen But we always called him a terrier mix, Patricia McConnel had been consulting with us on our rescue German Shepherds and we had Chuck with one time and she said he was def a PBGV so at age 9 on we call him that. I dunno! my kids call him a Peanut Butter and Jelly

I'm still figuring ..."Something HUSBAND???" I can think of some not so nice things that at times may fit "my husband" LOL - ONLY KIDDING!!!. So... what is DH???
