Saw this article on The Bark Magazine website and found it really interesting. My girls were so different and I have always wondered why.

Very interesting article, Sheri. Thanks for posting.
I read that this morning. I found it very interesting, especially the part about the hormones of the males in the litter affecting the females in utero.
I agree, Karen. I would be willing to bet that Maddie was nestled between males, and Morgan was off to the side somewhere. I have often thought that Maddie should have been a boy!
This was very interesting! I also have wondered about the difference in our two girls, and even sometimes think that they must have come from different litters. Thanks for sharing!
Interesting! Thanks for sharing!
It was the "fear" part of the article that got me reading it. I've spent 5 years trying to figure out how when L&S where together forever, that Lucy became shy/fearful all of a sudden. I remember the specific moment that it happened. It never occurred to me that it could have happened prior to birth! Our girls were in a liter of I think 13 and their were 3 females of which we of course have two. We still wonder about that other little girl all the time.
Thanks for posting this, Sherri. I am such a believer in the genetic influence on behavior and how environment modifies it.
