Winter Coats for our Doods

[DeeDee and Sheila]

Sheila is shivering out in the snow.  She loves to run in it, but gets cold and has snowballs all over her.  And she shivers on walks sometimes now.  Who has some cool coat recommendations?  And where did you get the coats, ideas for websites.

 

I'd like one that has slick material on outside and padding inside so I'm not cleaning/drying the coat all the time, too!

Oh, they are sooo cute together. Fetch Dog has fleece, but no shell over it. The suggestions from Canada look good, but sizing is a problem. Sheila only weighs 9.7 lbs!!

Thanks!! Yes these are fleece with corduroy plaid on the top side. I wish I would have had them monogrammed but I was afraid they wouldn't fit but the actually fit perfect. I am trying to find this other site from a similar discussion last week. Look at Lands End they have some and come in many sizes. I got ours at DrsFosterandSmith.com

The sizes start from xxs, you measure from the back of the neck to the tail. The xxs fits a dog that measures 8-10.5 inchs. The pictures show a Pom wearing it so it should be small enough for Sheila.

Old Navy has great coats for larger dogs :-) That is where I got Hunter's and it does dry really fast. She hardly ever wears it - she loves the snow, she rolls around in it like a maniac!!

Well I just ordered the snow suit/rain coat that Quincy has only in red. Once it gets here I will take a picture and post.
