Woman Bitten By City Police Dog!

This article was on the Cincinnati Enquirer website this morning.  I thought these dogs were trained to the top of their game!  Interesting!

We have a K9 unit here, I can't spell the dogs name. Anyway they always have safety days and meet and greet for kids and adults to get to know him as a dog that is there to help not play with or tease etc. I have NEVER seen or heard of them letting him off leash anywhere. Well we were at a dog expo outside and they were there. The young officer, his wife and kids were right by the car and he took his leash to let him out and he closed the door on the dogs tail!!! I never heard such a sound from a dog. He instantly put him back in not knowing if we was ok or not. He turned out to be ok, but what I'm saying it probably is the human's fault and not the dog. They make mistakes but this officer was just stupid!!!
