Hello-  I have a 14 week old Australian Labradoodle (Ollie) and I feel bad because her hair is starting to cover her eyes and I'm affraid she cant see.  Should I be trimming it or is it normal?

Thanks,
Bob

I used to think that the hair would stop growing....NOT!   I had to take my dog for his first groomer visit when he was about 6 inches long, matted everywhere.  I thought the groomer had a magic wand.......yes she did.  Its called SHAVING YOUR DOG!  I have had lots of dogs but boy oh boy was a new experience!  You will have to keep trimming his eyes, his feet and everything in between.  Make no mistake, this hair growing does not stop. Get to the groomer page, its a long haul if you dont know whats coming...like me. :(

Yes, get to a groomer for the introduction so they won't be so scared when they need a real haircut! But in the meantime, put the hair that is over the eyes between your fingers, pull it straight up away from the eye and towards the back of the head, cut the hair straight across and voila, you are done!
