Hi everyone! So tonight Jace has been acting a little down, and a little while ago he threw up, not much. and of course he cleaned up after himself.. ew. But anyways, he had a little extra for dinner tonight because he was acting really hungry all day and he drank a lot of water at once tonight as well. It could be a combination of the two, but it's been almost an hour and he hasn't got sick again. I'm a huge worry wart and he's my fur baby!!! should I be worried or am I over-exaggerating???

Any time you see a behavioral change in a puppy, accompanied by vomiting, it's something to pay attention to. But I wouldn't worry too much; just keep an eye on him.

I think he'll be fine.

I would see if he does it again. Is there any chance he got something he should not have? A couple of months ago Allie ate some pizza off the counter. She started throwing up two days later. Hind sight (and $2200 in hospital bills) being 20/20, I would have immediately given her hydrogen peroxide after eating the pizza. If you don't think he has gotten into anything, I think I would just wait and see. If he does it again, I would definitely go to the vet in the morning. I hope he feels better soon.

And I thought our $300 ER vet visit for vomiting was bad!

She did stay two nights. I really didn't think she would make it. I would have paid anything at that point :-)
Sounds like he may have drank and ate too much all at once..trust me you will know if something is wrong with rapid recurrences. Keep an eye on him and keep us posted.
Did you call vet? My rule of thumb is if they are eating and drinking water I would wait a day or two. If there is still vomiting or loose stools, then I would call.
I'm hoping he is feeling better!
Oh good. You will sleep much better tonight.

Glad you are feeling better after the vet visit.
