Just got this article sent through Dogster:  http://blogs.dogster.com/living-with-dogs/simone-reyes-talks-to-us-... and it reminded me of a discussion we had in yappy hour on Friday.  A number of us were on chat trying to convince Dori that she needed to get a Rua tattoo to mark the beginning of  the next chapter of her life.  (Hmmmm maybe the new KangaRua logo??)  Mind you it was easy for us liquor soaked cheerleaders to urge her on ;)  I recall someone on DK (can't remember who) has paw prints tattooed on her ankle or foot.  So what do you think DKers - to tattoo or not to tattoo - that is the question!

OMD, as much as I love Oliver and all the doodles, I cannot do that to myself.  I hate needles, and could never let them do that to me...Maybe a rub off one?????..Do they still have those???...We used to buy them for a penny, wet our arms or legs and put them wherever we wanted, they were red and blue...OMG, I guess I am old, lol....

Personally, I am not a tattoo person, I have seen quite a few I thought were pretty cool on other people.  Like a big buff guy with muscle arms that had barbed wire around it - not sure if it was his arm or the tattoo I couldn't quit staring at come to think of it.  I did see an article somewhere awhile back that had some really cool dog tattoo's... I will see if I can find it.  And if anyone is brave enough to get a doodle tattoo I will be the first to send you your beverage of choice for Yappy Hour!

Okay, I'll admit it. I have a tattoo. I was 21, mmkay?! LOL  It was a little yellow rosebud on my ankle. I say was because, now that I'm 45, it's a little greenish blob on my ankle.

Would I do it again, maybe something to do with the boyz? I dunno - depends on how much alcohol and how many other DK'ers were involved!

I am totally NOT a tattoo person either. I just don't get it. And I have always wondered what all these tattoos were going to look like when the owners are in their 70-80''s. Well just the other day I happened to see an elderly couple walking in the hall at work and the woman was very old, having a bit of a problem walking so I happened to notice her legs. She had tattoos from her knee to ankle on one leg and it looked so strange on this old woman. And it wasn't even sagging. Being a Lactation Consultant, I see some really elaborate tattoos on women's chests and I do wonder where they will eventually end up.

Tucked into the waistband of their pants. :>)

ROFL!

Haha. Yes probably.
Exactly! Not a good visual, lol!

Yuck Donna!!

I originally wanted a Calvin and Hobbes tattoo, but I wanted something small, so that just wasn't going to work. So I ended up with a small Nike swoosh on my hip. Gravity hasn't been too mean to that spot yet, so the tattoo is still in about the same place it started.

Leslie, you are still a baby in terms of sagging!

Wow I missed quite a happy hour! No needles for me I won't even sew buttons!
