This is too cute! My two have a lot to learn when it comes to fetch, but my childhood dog Maggie (a cockapoo) was an Olympic level ball player. She would have totally tried this tactic. When she couldnt find anyone to throw the ball for her she would sit at the top of our very large hill and roll her ball down then run and catch it before it reached the bottom then run back up and do it all again. But this was also the dog that could find golf balls in the snow :)

LOL! Maggie probably would have tried enlisting the babies in a game of fetch! She may have even succeeded!

As Tara gets older she is enjoying fetch much more than when she was younger. Maybe your babies will find it more interesting later on too!
