So all day today Lupin has been wretching.  More often than not its not productive, but I have probably cleaned up 6 puddles of water/mucus. She is more mellow than usual, but is eating and pottying normally. Should I call the vet tomorrow or just watch her?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Some may think I'm crazy but when my boys throw up unexpectedly and repeatedly, I'm checking with the vet. Look at her gums, are they very pale or a normal pink color? Is she drinking normal amounts of water? I would be concerned about dehydration with so much vomiting. It wouldn't hurt to call your vet and see what they think as soon as you can. BUT, if she continues vomiting tonight, call an animal ER for advice.
I hope Lupin feels better soon! Let us know how she's doing

I would call the vet!

Me too....how is she this morning?

Yes, after a whole day of that if she's not fine I would call the vet.

I would be calling the Vet!  Dehydration can come on quickly.  Keep us posted on how she is doing!

Waiting to hear an update on how little Lupin is doing today. I hope all is well. If they throw up once it may not be a big deal, but you want to check it out if it is happening repeatedly. There are just so many things pups can get into!

Any coughing?

That's what Baker did when he had kennel cough.

I agree, call the vet.

sounds like it may be kennel cough. I would call the vet

Hi all...sorry for the delay in updating you!  It was my little one's 4th birthday party today and its been a long day.  Anyway, I think I figured  out what the deal is with Lupin....we are building a patio in the back yard and the base course of road gravel (lots of fines/silt) is in but the paving stones are not.  This morning I saw that she had dug herself a sweet hole and was stretched out in it comfy as can be.  When she came in she had silt and dust and gravel gunk plastered to her nose and her beard was filled with it.  So I'm thinking her puppy lungs don't appreciate the silt and dust.  Ugh.  All the more reason to wrap up this project already!  :-)  She's drinking plenty of water and eating normally and hasn't brought up any water/mucus today.  She never full on vomited.  I don't think she'd have kennel cough.....she's been vax'd and hasn't been at day care or anything like that.  Thanks so much for everyone's concern!

Relieved to hear Lupin is doing better. Thanks for the update!

So glad to hear she is much better!  These Doodles like to explore everything!
