Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Listening to you all talk about starting to receive your Xmas cards always makes me so sad. The reason that I never join the group is because the most stressful thing that I do all year is to try and get a descent picture for their Christmas Card. I of course make it more difficult because I want there to be snow and I want my decorations up to try and use in the pictures. I wait for the first snow, I take hundreds of pictures, and with each bad picture I stress a little more. Always made more difficult because the snow will always come through the week, it is dark out by the time DH gets home, and I have to try and do these with two dogs by myself. Finally, I decide that I've just run out of time and I have to use something that I have. My girls aren't real cooperative when the camera comes out which makes it even more difficult. Oh, and I forgot to mention I'm terrible with a camera. So, I didn't get my pictures done in time to join a group, but I still wanted to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and share Lucy & Sophies card! I've included 2 cards. The one with both of them we will be using for the Residents and staff at the Ohio Veteran's Home and the one of just Sophie we will be using for the Patients and Staff at the Mercy Hospital where just Sophie visits! I also still have a few that I haven't gotten done yet that will be for our Foster families.
So, I'd love to see some others even though I didn't get my act together in time to join! Will you share with me.UPDATE: I'm updating to include the picture I finally finished today for the families of the Doodles we fostered this year, along with the girls picture with Santa today! Thanks so much to everyone for posting your pictures I'm having a great time seeing them!

Really nice...photos turned out beautiful!
What a lovely family photo.
Aw, your doodles pose so nicely with Santa. :-)
If you only knew what I go through to get this picture every year. The first one we had taken same place as our family picture I had Santa's pic taken with our little girl then with the dogs and they turned out nice except for you could hardly see Molly with all the black so I had to see when Santa was going to be at the studio in town and as luck would have it I managed to get a 2nd appointment with him at the other studio which my husband was just a huge fan of taking them the 2nd time (ha,ha) but their picture has to be good just like our little girls does after all they are our furkids. I used to work with this Santa and he takes great pride in playing Santa and is very, very good at it. I also had him stop by my little girls daycare this year and he read them the night before x-mas and gave them each a present and let them sit on his lap then had cookies they made for him and juice. It was great.
Michele --- It was worth all the trouble because the photo is great!
