Yikes! Fudge and Vern just Got Groomed!

Today, Fudge and Vern went for their grooming. Vern's hair is getting unmanageable. He rolls in EVERYTHING. Since Fudge is chocolate it is harder to tell when she is dirty, but since she hangs out with Vern, you know how that goes. I took pictures into the groomer. I told her exactly what I wanted. I wanted to start them getting used to their summer coats and was going for a look that was light and breezy. I was HORRIFIED when I picked them up and obviously, there was a big communication problem. This is what Fudge and Vern look like with their new summer coats. Is it as bad as I think??

I can't tell what their new 'dos look like with the coats on, but they sure are cute!

When their hair grows back, I will have to take a picture of the dogs in their winter coats. I am thinking a nice LL Bean jacket will be nice...LOL.

Aww, they are so cute, and the play on words I love it!!!...Laurie I love the expression on their faces...I wish I could get Ollie & Renny to sit like that for pictures...It is rare here that we can get a decent picture of them..they are both at the groomers today too, have to pick them up soon....

Look at those coats... (horrified voice) that is definitely a case of a grooming gone bad. LOL

They look pretty sad about it.  But they will be more comfortable.  And the rain will just roll right off of them!

Man, this is the place for April Fools jokes, isn't it?  Very pretty coats.  Nicely wash and wear, and presumably no brushing.

Okay, Laurie, you got one person....me! I had no idea this was an April Fool's Joke until I saw the other responses. Duh! I'm going back to bed, maybe I'll wake up smarter!
