Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Does your doodle have any odd routines that you find entertaining (or annoying)?
Share them! I would love to hear about how other peoples' little creatures of habit go about their day. Photo evidence is a plus!
Here are a few of Luna's:
- Before she goes to sleep in her own bed, she demands some cuddle time up on her bed. She can't get up there herself, so she stands on her hind legs and paws at the covers until the skyhook (tall 2-legged dog) takes her up.
- She MUST go outside before her morning meal, but doesn't do anything. She just stands on the deck for 5 seconds and comes back in. (2 months and 8 months, same spot)
- Before coming all the way down the stairs, she ALWAYS sits in this spot and has to be tempted down further with the promise of play, food or interesting kitchen noises: (4 months and 8 months.. same spot and yes - she always sits like that)

Myla does this and then she lays on them so Chloe can't have any-if Chloe does, she'll take it right out of her mouth and chew on that one!
Those are adorable! She is such a funny cute dog. The only one I can think of is that Darwin does this ostrich routine, when he gets really excited. He gets so hyped up that it's just too much, then immediately buries his head in the couch cushions, your laps, etc. Then he just sits there with his head buried and his bum in the air, wagging his tail.
LOL That is so funny! Hunter has a few odd habits - first whenever we come home and greet her I always let her outside, she stands on her hind legs so I can scratch her head before she goes out the sliding door - mind you were are standing in front of the door - she won't just go out the sliding door she has to make a slow lap and walk around the kitchen through the living room and dining room and will then go straight out the door.
Also, whenever anyone comes to our house she immediately gets a bone or a toy to show them, whether they like it or not! If they sit I have to warn them she may drop the big bone in their lap :-)
