zoomies

Ioften read the disscussions on DK - can anyone tell me what the "zoomies" are - my doodle doesn't have them at least i don't think he does.Thanks Lesley and Ozzie. UK

great I will have a look - my Ozzie doesn't appear to have the zoomies but he does have a mad half hour about 9 ish every evening.

Murphy does a figure 8 pattern (preferably me in the middle) with 'fly bys". Nothing like a 100 lb doodle running wide open right at you.... and he isn't that agile ;-)
What is really scary is if he gets the zoomies around small children.

I Love Zoomies but when you have 9 of them yes nine doing them watch out lol. It's a good thing I have a huge back yard it has gotten crazy a few times

Tigger and Roo had the zoomies just yesterday. Ran around the house like they had eaten locoweed for about a half hour. No pupose, no cause - at least that I could see - just crazy running over, under, around and through furniture, me, dog door.
Usually happens less often as dog gets older. Mine are 2 and about 3 and have had the zoomies like yesterday in a long time.

I bet you loved watching them. When Gracie Doodle gets the zoomies I just laugh and giggle because it is so much fun to watch!!
