Spotted skin color

Discovered this morning that my Aussiedoodle, Fitz, has liver-colored spots on his skin under the white hair on his chest/neck area. Has anyone else seen something like this? Attached a recent photo after his first haircut.

Tori has these spots on her belly under her tummy hair. I asked the vet and he said it was normal. How old is Fitz? He looks like an awfully BIG Aussiedoodle boy!

Fitz is about a year old. We adopted him last Oct. I know exactly how much he weighs b/c we went to the vet's today: 50.3 lbs. He's probably around 20" tall. Really a beautiful dog! The vet wanted to take him home. I asked her about the spotted skin while I was there. She also said it was normal.

Yes, that's what it is. I've just never seen it before.

My Bella has those spots too mostly under her belly area but other places to  under the white hair. I think it is just skin pigmentation. Perfectly normal. What a beautiful doodle. Congradulations!!!!
