That time of year has come. Adina has announced info about calendar submissions which will start on Sept 1. You can post potential submissions here, ask for critiques or ask not to get any, ask for editing suggestions etc. I hope by now everyone is capable of doing simple editing by themselves. I am. Not certain anyone wants to do complex editing for others but there may be takers. The guidelines for submissions are here. Remember the actual submissions go to Adina by email.

If you do submit photos that don't follow the guideline parameters your photo will be tossed by Adina. But even great photos which follow all the rules may not make the calendar since the competition is stiff. Good luck to all.

And shame on Adina!  She did NOT number her photos

LOL

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...FUNNY FUNNY

You are so right. We should start a rebellion.

I think you can see things better if you squint from a distance or just kind of let your eyes glaze over.  Enlarging just distorts it...you're a photography group, you should know that! ;-)

LOL, it is the size of a postage stamp that contains over 100 doodle images!

Adina, Ii was just wondering if you knew how many photos were submitted in total?

I don't because I delete the 'bad' ones immediately.  I have 211 GD photos currently saved and 147 LD photos saved...plus 43 'other' doodles or mixes of doodles that are restricted to the Lotsa Doodles calendar. Sooo...that's 401 that I've kept...wow.  The total submitted is more than that, of course, but probably less than 800.  Maybe less than 700.

Must be an overwhelming task... I would gladly help you decide ; P

Thanks for undertaking this ... it has to be much work.

I started a yearbook for a school for pregnant teens [eventually teen Moms] and their babies . I was a Social Worker and doing the yearbook helped me form a positive relationship with the kids who did not  like the idea of 'counseling'. They did love for me to photograph them and their babies. I took many, many .... hundreds of photos of the babies and their Moms and I had to chose photos and layout. It was very time consuming. It was before I owned a scanner and before digital cameras. I had the girls help chose the photos and make collages of their photos. This had them talking and sharing without even realizing it, plus it helped them use their creativity.

What a great project, Sue!
