Some of you have shown interest in this camera that sandy b first turned me on to in the "Discussion of Zoom Lenses" discussion.  sandy b and I both purchased this camera.  Mine came to day.  Here are a few right out of the camera shots from this afternoon/tonight.

2. This structure is about 1/2 mile from where I shot it.  It is part of a defunct peanut storage facility.

Wow!  I have the SX40 and I thought that was pretty nice for a point and shoot.  These shots are clearly superior.  I absolutely love the moon shots.  Just curious, are they both rising moons?

Ann ~ I love these photos abd the fact they are right out of the camera.  I have the SX 40 and am quite happy with it.

Nice, Anne, I have a 6 year old Canon Powershot - not as sophisticated as yours -- but it has taken some really nice shots.  I can't wait to see what you do with this and how you like it.
