December Portrait Assignment

The December Assignment is for portraits of doodles  or people. Please give us as much information about settings as you can. This is a good assignment for this cold weather in much of the country I think. I hope everyone, that's over 200 of us, will participate.


I had posted a discussion about portrait lenses a while back. I've decided not to spend the big bucks now but the information, especially from Ricard Crowe is worth reading for this assignment.

Dood nab IT. Can I swear now.? WTD? I spent 2 hours looking in an old computer for the ONE silhouette picture I had. I was going to be prepared this month. Now :)~~~

This is a silhouette, isn't it? I wasn't sure what one was to be honest-so I went with a portrait. :) I like this pic of the kitty!

Loveit, and it is a type of portrait . I also bet you had some fun looking this up. We need a more orderly way of deciding assignments I think. Suggestions welcome.

No, I don't think the order is inept in anyway. I like how you have been doing our monthly assignments. Ideas in open forum and then on to an orderly discussion when you and Diane decide to give out our months assignments :)

Cute kitty portrait! I like the angle--nice to look UP at a kitty instead of how I usually see them, down on the floor.
