There are so many things that I love about our country but, the American People have to be the primary thing that I love. These two shots were taken during a local Veterans Day Celebration.  HAPPY FOURTH TO ONE AND ALL!

The Diaz family has defended our nation in three wars, World War II, Korea and Vietnam...  Now that's love!

This lovely young lady married her Wounded Warrior husband, AFTER, he lost his legs in combat!  Now that's love...

I love the 4th of July, with parades and firework displays across the country.  This year I watched the fireworks in San Francisco from across the bay--no loud "bangs" to make me jumpy.  The scene was a bit surreal since there was a layer of fog hovering over the city, and some of the higher rockets seemed to dance on top of the fog, with airplanes whizzing by.

Here is my attempt to capture all of that using a 30 second exposure to catch light trails and zoom lens.  The photo is very dark compressed and so click on it if you are interested.
