March Assignment Spring into Action

We need to jazz things up a bit and get more participation. Some people want technical assignments and some don't. Spring is coming. We all love doodles and doodles on the move. Most of us love nature. So combining all of this is this month's assignment, "Spring into Action". Any part of it works, whether it's about action or spring or both or even jumping doodles. And if you want to try different exposures, silhouettes, stop action, or blurring or any other techniques just tell us what you're doing or even trying to do : )

I took this at the zoo a couple of weeks ago. Now that I see it and the ones you all have submitted, I can see that I needed to get closer.

These are such pretty flowers, Nancy?  What are they?  I agree that if you got a little closer it would have brought out more of the detail, but it's pretty just as it is.

I think these are Crocosmia.

I think they are called Clivia.  I have them in my backyard but my gardener always ruins the leaves with his rake!!

Hey, that is the day we were all at the Zoo together.  They are called Clivia and they also had yellow ones.  Here are the ones I photographed.
