I installed my new Photoshop CC 2018 which comes automatically with the Photography Subscription to CC 2018 (Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge and Adobe Camera RAW) but I did not find my NIK Filter set included in the filters of Photoshop. I installed a new NIK set (it's still free) into my Photoshop CC 2018 and it worked fine.
However, I got an email from a friend telling me of an easier way to install the NIK set as a Photoshop Plug-in. I will share this with you in case you have lost your NIK filters:
Richard - on a Windows machine, the plugins for Photoshop can be found in the following directory:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CC 2017\Plug-ins
Copy all the files found there to the directory
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CC 2018\Plug-ins
When you start up Photoshop CC 2018, all the plug-ins will load. There is no need to reinstall everything.
BTW: Joyful news for us NIK users (I think!). Google announced that it will no longer support the NIK plug-ins. This worried me because I use NIK very often and did not want to lose that capability. However, this has just been announced:

The DXO folks have just taken over NIK. I don't know how or if it will financially impact present NIK users. Some of us paid the $250 to Google for this program while others received the program when Google offered for free.
BY THE WAY... If you use Photoshop, Lightroom or Photoshop Elements to post process your images, I suggest that you install NIK while it is still free.
There are also some pretty decent books on NIK available from Amazon via their Kindle...

I would do that quickly... I don't know how long NIK will be available in the free version?
