So, maybe this is simple but I am a bit lost with this concept.
It seems as though I am posting ( I don't know for how long ) as RGB, not sRGB.
How can I correct this error when posting to the web? Is it in camera. Camera settings. Photoshop settings. RAW settings.
If it is in camera, those of you who shoot Nikon, would you please direct me as to how to correct.

Joanne, I had this problem awhile back and Camilla called it to my attention. Lightroom was changing it from sRGB and I fixed it. I have stopped using Lightroom for the time being for other reasons. You made me curious and I checked some of my recent posted images and found that they come out of the camera sRGB but after processing the RAW file and converting to jpeg the color profile is changed. I am using Photoshop CC and there must be a setting there that needs to be changed but I could not find it under Preferences. I will look further but perhaps someone will step in and help us.
Thanks. I am also using CC and did look in the ' help' sections. I am not finding my issue.
I have to run out for a few, but will be back online around 10pm
This parameter has to do with the color space your image has .... RGB has more color variations than sRGB. But the web uses sRGB. AND I don't think most people can tell the difference so:
Nikon in camera setting adjustment: The easy way is to just change the color space output on your camera. For Nikon:
1. go to "Shooting Menu"
2. highlight "Color Space" and highlight/press "sRGB"
HOPE THIS MAKES SENSE AND HELPS

So glad to see your post, Tom. Skip loves his camera and mostly uses the settings you left on it for him to use!
Would love to see some of Skip's photos. Mike
Yes, simple! Thank you so much
Tom,
I checked my settings and it was set on sRGB. It must be happening in CC. Thank you so much for you input
You can also do this in photoshop. Under the edit menu, select "convert to profile" and select sRGB. You can also specify your preferred color profile in photoshop preferences.
Easy. Thank you so much
Sorry, duplicate. :-)
Ahhh! Thank you so much. Cant wait to see if my images post better now. Thank you, Thank you All!!
I change it in photoshop (although mine is set to that at default now, in the RAW settings). I just go into photoshop, edit>convert to profile> sRGB
